Electronic Tumbleweeds

…was part of a Philips ad campaign. Whether it was for lightbulbs or TVs I don’t remember, but the fact that I remember at all makes me question what I’m doing with my life.

OK, for all you 0 readers out there who may be wondering why the website was down a while ago, here’s the scoop:

I was trying to update WP, when I thought “Hey, this won’t be the only thing on my website, so I should probably move it to a ‘blog’ subdirectory, right?” Wrong. It borked my theme, so I just decided to un and re-install WP. But my FTP client was fucking up on me, so every time I tried to upload, it failed. I finally just ssh’d into it and went from there.

I changed the location of my WordPress install from /wordpres to /blog and now my layout’s borked. I’ll have to take a look at it, but for right now, I’ll just use the default theme. This week is a great first week of school. 

My watch strap is almost shot to hell, my backup is borked, taking all my videos with it, and a lot of other stuff. That I can’t think of now.

and so all my videos are basically lost. I could most likely send them out to a HD recovery place, but I don’t have that kind of money. I think I’ll just buy some HDDs and RAID 5 them next time. Or just not use a Deathstar.

…before I could get all my stuff off of it. It is right now in the freezer until I get some recovery utils.
